Ailanto Wellness Resort & Spa August 2008 (8/26/2008 1:43:42 PM)
Ailanto gets the GREEN light!
We have received formal approval and permits from Setena, Costa Rica’s National Environmental Organization, clearing the way for completion of our project. With Costa Rica currently cracking down on developers and the impact that their projects may have on the environment and its resources, receiving approval from Setena is a vital step for our project.
Setena's approval was received in large part because of the attention and respect we have given to our surrounding ecosystem at Ailanto. Our measures to maintain a green development include:
The use of 100% clean energy derived from the local geothermal plant.
The construction and development of less than 15% of our land.
The use of GPS technology to map, identify and preserve all old-growth vegetation.
The respect of all construction limit lines from natural resources including 100 radial meters from our natural spring, 45 radial meters from our lake, and 15 from our river.
The implementation of revolutionary Canadian septic systems which guarantee to recycle the cleanest water possible back into the ecosystem.
Below is a special article and report to be featured in this month's edition of LATCO Magazine, set for distribution throughout North and Central America.
Ailanto in Chinese: While Ailanto has been featured across several forms of mass media throughout the Americas and Europe, this recent newspaper article is one of our favorites.
Construction Update
As we finish construction on our first home, we are currently getting underway with phase two of our development. When finished with phase two, our project will feature all infrastructure (roads, electricity, plumbing), one condiminium building and a fully-functioning Medical Center. Within our Medical Center will be our Beauty Enhancement Center, our Wellness Living Center, and our Center for Emotional Healing.
During the month of August, we will be working on the following stages of phase two:
The first road will be completely laid out, leading all the way to the rear of the property.
Our first gazebos and treetop massage platforms to be constructed and available for use by visitors.
All engineering to be finalized for the entire project.
Cash Flow Opportunities With
For some, Ailanto will be a place where they can live in luxurious comfort year-round. Yet for those who are looking to enjoy returns within the highly lucrative tourism industry of Costa Rica, we offer a rental pool where one's home can be offered to guests visiting Ailanto.
Below is an analysis of the rental market of the Ailanto homes. This is a cash-on-cash return and it does not take any appreciation into account.
Even though the numbers appear rather large, please note that we are using conservative estimations. For example, The I.C.T. (Costa Rican Tourism Authority) reports that the average rate for a five-star hotel is $289 per night, and we begin ours at $112.00. Our occupancy rate is estimated low as well, using the lowest occupancy rate for any 2-4 star hotel. Five-Star Hotels can have upwards of an 80% occupancy rate in the Guanacaste province.
Lock in your home now at our low pre-development prices and enjoy the best returns possible!
